• From the BOTTOM of the license agreement, I quote

    “Third Party Text Links
Third party text networks supply text for display in 404 to 301. These networks may collect your visitors’ IP addresses, in native or hashed forms, for purposes of controlling the distribution of text links. 404 to 301 collects anonymous aggregated usage statistics.”

You know, I’m responsible of adding this plugin to several sites. I caused the dammage. And no, I don’t always read the license agreements to the end, but trusted the wp-communities developers good judgement. Naive that was.

I’m weeding through my sites right now, uninstalling 404 to 301, cleaning up after it. The tracking may have been removed again in the latest version, but the dammage is done – leaving me with no trust in this plugin anymore… Sorry.
