Zero Spam blocking mail poet sign ups

    Hi,

    The Zero spam plugin is blocking mail poet newsletter form sign-ups. – I have cross-checked this by de-activating the zero spam plugin and the sign form then works correctly.

    I have asked Mail Poet for their IP addresses so I can whitelist them, but they haven’t replied.

    Is there any other way I can add mail poet to a safe list?

    Hey writersinitiativeuk, version 5 was just released with more control when blocking. Please update to the latest, I suspect it’ll solve the issues. If something is still getting blocked, it’s likely due to the offending IP appearing on Stop Forum Spam’s blacklist.

    Many thanks – mail poet did in the end get back to me with IP addresses, so managed to get that issue solved. However, unfortunately, since I have upgraded to version 5 the website goes down, so I have had to disabled the plugin. (Once disabled the site does run correctly again).

    The exact error message I get is – There has been a critical error on this website. Learn more about debugging in WordPress.

    Can you provide me more info? What does your PHP error log say?

    I’ve just updated to the very latest version and it’s now working. Thanks for creating this great plugin ??
