• Okay, so my stupid host was messing with the servers, and said he “updated security” and now if I try to access any of my wordpress .php files, I get a “Zero Size Reply” error.

Anyone know wtf this is and how to get my blog working again?

    Thx, Eric.

If you have time, and you think you know the problem, please email me at [email protected], thx.

  • Fire up your ftp client, then check each file on the server against a freshly unzipped copy from here.

(And yes, hosts are helpful like that at times)

Hmm… I’m im pretty sure none of the files have been changed in anyway. I think it may have something to do with something called “Squid”

    (Ya, hosts are pretty “helpful”)

*bumping again* Maybe I’ll get some help?

    What is a “squid”

‘Pretty sure’ – did you check as I advised ?

    Who is your host ?

    Do not bump again please.

    Thats pretty weird

Is “Squid” some securtity thing that your host installed?

Your best bet would be to talk to your Host

i have we are both wondering wtf is going on, squid is what the error message is supposted to be linked to.

my host knows nothing about this squid thing

I think I may know whats going on. I just need someone to tell me which file it is that I change which username and password wordpress uses to access the database.

    https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/phpmyadmin/

What is the full text of this error message ?

Squid is a caching web proxy. If your host knows nothing about it, send him here:

    https://www.squid-cache.org/

If you need to change your user name and password for the database, the file is wp-config.php

ya, i found out where to change it, thx lesbessant, but the only problem now is that the password for the user that can access the database is incorrect, and if i make a new user that access the database i get the Zero Size Reply error again. So i have to use the original user that fantisco created when making wordpress. I need to find out the password for that user. How would I go about finding that out?
