    Hello

I’ve install and configure your plugin and it works great, thank you so much!

The problem is that every hour when the post count is being refreshed, I get zero (0) reads for 1 or 2 posts.

I’ve Empty pageviews cache and Refreshed Google API token but it’s still having this error every cycle.

I don’t know if it’s a bug in the plugin or in Google Analytics API but wanted to ask.

Is it possible to change to “0” views to another number instead? “0” simply looks bad and a temporary number will look better until the next refresh.

    Thank you so much!

    Hello,

Thanks for your suggestion! I just updated the script (version 1.4) with this feature ??

You should be able to update it in a few minutes.

    Let me know!

    Best regards

Great Plugin!!! so useful. thanks you some much.

one more question.. is it possible to program it to start with a different default value other then zero? I hate seeing Zero readers for my posts and i takes time to get readers..

    Thanks again!!!

    Hi,

    Thanks!

There is a setting for that: “Default value when a count cannot be fetched”.

    Cheers

Thank you for you quick reply. indeed there is..:-) it was my suggestion back then.. However, new posts will still start with zero because the: “Default value when a count cannot be fetched”. is only working when the plugin fails to fetch the data from Google analytics (I think..)

Is there a way to give new posts a startup number instead of zero?

    Thanks again!!!

I don’t think that’s the kind of feature I’d like to add to the plugin.

However you can add a simple if statement and check the value of the number of pageviews, or hide the counter for posts younger than one day…
