I have a website that is using the Zerif Lite theme. However, I do not want to use the home page style that comes with the theme and instead want to use a custom home page. When I allocate my preferred page as ‘Home Page’, it still shows the sections from the Zerif theme.

I have gone into ‘Customise’ and turned all sections off, but they are still showing.

Could someone please advise how to stop these sections from showing?

    Many thanks in a advance.

    Hello there,

You can try to do the following:
    Appearance > Customize
    Click Advance Option> General Options
Check the box for Keep the old static frontpage template.
    Save and Publish.

Let us know how it goes.

Thank you so much – that did the trick!

Such a simple fix, but saved me a lot of struggle.

    Thanks again! ??
