Zakra “menu item active color” and “menu item hoover color” -part 2

Solution from https://docs.zakratheme.com/en/article/primary-menu-overview-so2s18/ (bottom page) it changes colors on all pages, but I need different colors on the main page.

We tested the menu color option in our testing environment, and the feature works fine. This issue might be caused by a conflict or the cache.

I restored the website from a backup. I updated everything except the Zakra theme (I have 3.0.9). Everything works fine with this version. After updating to 3.0.14, I cannot change the “Menu Item Color” and “Menu Item Hoover Color” colors.

This is not conflict. I disabled all plugins except elementor, but the color change still doesn’t work.

Since I can’t clear the cache (remote hosting), I installed Worpress on my new local server for testing. I installed a very old theme Zakra (1.2.3 – I have zip file).

I can change all colors without any problem.

After upgrading Theme to newest 3.0.14, I cannot change the colors of “Menu Item Color” and “Menu Item Hoover Color” again. E.g. “Menu Item Color” was green and became white.

If You have previous versions  3.0.10  3.0.11  3.0.12  3.0.13 I can test them.

My website will be running version 3.0.9 until the problem is found.

I found Zakra theme in versions 3.0.9 and 3.0.13.
On my test server 3.0.9 working OK, but after upgrade to 3.0.13 is the same prowlem as with 3.0.14. After roll back to 3.0.9 is OK again.
I’m looking for .10 .11 and .12 versions. Where Can I download it?

We have checked the latest version’s color options and found that the individual page’s Primary menu color options are not working. Still, we have a feature to customize the color from the customizer option, which is working fine.

Please go to your dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Header & Navigation >> Primary Menu >> Scroll down to the style section and change the color according to your needs.

Our upcoming theme update will fix the individual primary color menu feature.

Unfortunately the above solution changes the color for all pages, but I need a different color for the top menu on the home page. How to change “Menu Item Color”, “Menu Item Hoover Color” and “Menu Item Color” for only one page?

In the next versions of Zakra Theme, 3.0.15, 3.0.16, 3.0.17, changing the color of “Menu Item Color”, “Menu Item Hoover Color” and “Menu Item Color” for individual pages still does not work – it takes the value from the Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Header & Navigation >> Primary Menu >> Scroll down and ignores settings for individual pages.

When can this bug be fixed? I’m still using version 3.0.9.

Navigate to:
WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Header & Navigation > Primary Menu > Style > Color

From here, clear the color (button “Clear”).
