z-index problem in twentyten wordpress theme

  • I am using twentyten theme. In that I took the top navigation bar above the header image. Then I have replaced header image with smooth slider (which is showing only images).

    The problem is : dropdown menu in top navigation menu is hiding behind smooth slider images in IE7. But in other browsers it appears fine. z-index of ul (of top navigation menu) is 9999

    How to correct this problem.?
