Fortunately I always back up before I upgrade plugins/themes.

The cart upgrade broke the custom css for the product page layout, the add to cart button became nonfunctional and the cart widget seemed to disappear.

    I immediately reverted.

    What a fiasco.

When I first installed marketpress it was wonderfully simple, then you changed it to be more like woo and that was not a change for the better but I stuck with it on this one simple site with minimal products. That’s when you went off the rails with your cart plugin. You had a chance to compete with woo, instead you emulated much of their stupidity.

I suspect you have gone and changed class names with this upgrade which caused the css problems. Not so bright.

I’ll try it again maybe in a few weeks to see if you’ve corrected the problems. If not I’ll be forced to go to woo.

*many expletives directed at you, WPMU DEV*

Truly sorry you experienced so many issues with the latest update. I will pass your comments along to the development team. Could you share your broken site with us in a test environment? It is not possible for us to test and fix your custom CSS and plugin configuration without more information. Thank you for your patience as we work to make MarketPress a better e-commerce plugin.
