Please let me know what sort of features you would like to see.

Currently,
There is an admin options screen where:
1. you can specify the class attribute for the containing divs and the thumbnails
2. you can specify the size of the thumbnails and the video (this may distort the thumbnail as youtube.com sends them out at a predetermined size)

Also:
1. you can put the gallery in a page or post
2. you can get a random video thumbnail to place on the sidebar
3. you can specify if the thumbnails will be in li or div or something else or nothing.
4. you can specify if the thumbnails will launch the video in a new window
5. the communication with youtube is cached, so not every request to your gallery will cause a hit to the youtube.com site

Hi,

Great plugin. I only have two issues –

1. I can’t get any metadata to show
2. The order they’re in isn’t correct, is there a random setting I can turn off?

many thanks, SUPERB PLUGIN!

cheers,

Hi I’ve installed the mytube plugin as directed.
Activated it,
Options/configured in it with my userid .
(I can see the precached videos in the options
submenu fine.)
In Users/your Profile i’ve Unchecked use Visual Rich
editor.
However – When I go to Write a Post or Page
there is no Buttons for including the gallery!
Can’t figure it out?
Is there another place i need to go to get the
little buttons to add to a post?
Thanks,
Jacob

I created a plugin that uses the bracket method to include YouTube video’s:

I love the plugin. Thank you VaamYob!

But I have a question : I want to post a specific video from YouTube in my post. I want to present the video’s LENGTH and VIEWS and THUMBNAIL.

Is there a way to write for example :

And in my post you’ll see :

{thumbnail image}

Length : 02:50

{YouTube video player}

Can this be done? I know it’s very similar to WPVideo, but they don’t offer the VIEWS and THUMBNAIL information like you do.

Please Help me ??

I don’t get a set of video related buttons above my post field when I write a post. What’s causing that, you think?

Cheers
