Testing the plugin with a simple Youtube video shortcode.
The YouTube video plays using the normal youtube embedded looking player as it always would.
None of the FV player options are having any effect.
This is on a demo site with no other plugins installed, so there should be no conflicts.

  • Hi Crssp,

Use of YouTube API requires upgrading to pro. Any video entered with FV Player interface will be instantly converted to API version on upgrade.

We’re planning to make basic YouTube API part of the free version, but we’re still waiting on the full launch of v7 to do so.

You can see demos of YouTube player along with full documentation here: https://foliovision.com/player

Would consider purchasing Pro and even Vast ads versions, but no youtube support at all in the free version, is not very confidence inspiring.

    Hi Crssp,

We have about 50 demos up, thousands of answered forum support questions, tens of thousands of active users and have been building and improving WordPress video for over seven years now. And we offer a very powerful and entirely free version.

There is a 30 day guarantee. If our player fails to perform as advertised, we’ll be happy to refund you in full.

Making the web work for you, Alec
