YouTube videos as background in Sections does not work anymore.

    When setting a YouTube video as a Section background, results in a message that the video is unavailable. Switching to a local video works, which is not my proffered way to display videos…

    Environment: Xampp php 7.2x, WP 5.8, latest Gut plugin among others… Same results with both Chrome & Firefox browsers.

    Hi @nick6352683, Could you check whether the youtube video that you have added as Section background is playing on the front-end? I mean is the issue related to the back-end only on your side?

    Hi @dmytro, (using the latest version of the plugin v1.7.2),

    If it does not work on the back end, it does not work on the front end as well.

    That said, as I was making a video to show you everything you would need, I found the issue (the non code issue that is).

    The poor man’s fix: If you set the background YouTube video without having the Repeat checked, the video is unavailable. However, once you check the Repeat, everything works fine. A quick fix for you I guess would be to get rid of the Repeat option and set the repeat to be always on by code, besides, a background video is supposed to always repeat, right?
