YouTube Videos and Text Size

  • I have two questions –

    First, for a long time I was able to post videos from YouTube by just entering the address for the video into the post and it would pull the video just fine. Then about a month and a half/two months ago, this stopped working. So I’ve had to embed the videos in the html, which I know how to do, but I always run into the problem of flipping between the html and visual post box and the embed html disappearing.

    Does the theme no longer pull youtube videos with just the address? Am I doing something wrong? I’m not sure how to tell if it is broken or just me.

    The second thing is more of an “I don’t know how to do this” question. I’d like to change the font size in my posts to make some text smaller but I’m not sure how to do that. I know this is kind of a silly question, but I thought maybe there was an easy way I just wasn’t seeing.

    Aside from these two questions, I love Suffusion. It’s such a great theme. Thank you

  • Simply using the video url should still work. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
