YouTube video thumbnail get cut off at the bottom and has a black bar on top.

    Hi there,

    I have embedded my youtube videos on my homepage. It was originally looked ok. And then didn’t what has changed, the bottom of the video got cut off and there is a black bar appears on top. I tried to roll back to the older version of Neve but it didn’t work either.

    Could someone give some lights on how to fix this?

    Hi,

    The issue comes from this code, probably from the plugin you are using, WP Youtube Lyte.

    .fourthree .lyMe, .fourthree .lyte {
    padding-bottom: 75%;
}

    You can try to see if the code is in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and remove it, or is coming from the plugin’s options.
    This doesn’t to be related to Neve.

    try changing the video format to 16:9 in LYTE’s settings, that should help ??

    I deleted the plugin, and just used what is standard in Elementor. It seems working now! Thanks so much!
