YouTube URL vs. Embed Code

For the past week, I’m seeing a strange issue with the YouTube video behavior. When you initially released the feature for using video URLs instead of iframe embed codes, the URL method caused 500 internal server errors for me.

At some point, that behavior stopped happening and I was able to use URLs instead of embeds with no issue.

Starting with sermon posts one week ago, I’m seeing the same issue happen again: if I use the URL method, the post brings up a 500 internal server error (with no error visible in in my shared host’s error logs), but if I use the iframe embed code method, it works.

Any tips/suggestions?
