YouTube URL fails

  • For a wordpress site using the twentyseventeen theme, I’ve created numerous video posts in exactly the same way: paste YouTube Url, select post-type video, and publish. For reasons I cannot fathom, this URL fails: https://youtu.be/FbxACH-0zr0

    In desperation I’ve placed a text link there now, but if anyone has some insight into this anomaly, I’d love to hear it.

  • You probably won’t be able to play it on your web site, anyway. When I embed the video on a test page and try to play it, I get the message:

    Video unavailable
    Watch this video on YouTube.
    Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner.

    thanks @crouchingbruin. You got further than I did. My page won’t even display the video’s frame.
