• Hi

    All my YouTube embeds suddenly stopped working due to the http protocol being hard coded into shortcodes ultimate.

    My dev team updated the code but they say I will have to tweak the code with every time I update the plugin.

    This was the change needed, which I would now need to do manually each time…I am not sure which file, this is simply the massage I got from my team.

    $protocol=’https’;

    Hope you can fix that!

    Here is the trouble spot

    shortcodes-ultimate/inc/core/shortcodes.php line 673

    Hope they will fix this in an official update.

    This has been a very convenient shortcode so far and Shortcodes Ultimate has been a timesaver and convenient to work with.

    Now I am having to find workarounds for this particular issue after having the site go SSL.

    Thanks, it works also for me, I hope the next release will resolve this error. I’ve got this trouble also, but I thought it was because I force the redirection https in my wordpress…

    Now with the version 4.10.2 I always need to do this hack ! This issue is not resolved…

    Sorry, I come back to explain how to resolve this issue, you just need to add https="yes" at the end of the shortcode. It’easy…

    @rodinux
    would you care for more details where I have to add this line??? Probably this advise is gonna work for me as well

    Just when editing your post in the editor, when you add a shortcode you-tube-advanced, you have the option ‘htpps: no’ by default, you click the button to put ‘https: yes’, it will put it in green, that’s all… (sorry for my bad english)
