I have purchased the video add-on, it works well generally but I have two issues:

    1. Adding a YouTube parameter (eg rel=0 ) breaks the video lightbox add-on – it doesn’t play or redirects to the YouTube page instead of a lightbox.
    2. How can I hide the video name (title) from underneath the video in the lightbox?

FYI we are using the lightbox on an image, not on text. therefore we are not using the shortcode, but a version of the HTML code that the shortcode produces. It works fine without any YouTube params.

    Thanks

Hi, support for additional URL parameters is planned for a future update. See this related ticket for more information.

SLB’s lightbox is fully customizable using themes. Here is a tutorial on customizing the lightbox’s layout.

Also, can you clarify what you mean by “shortcode”? SLB doesn’t use any specific shortcodes for adding links to a post.

Finally, in the future, you can use SLB’s official add-ons support forum, as that will allow for faster and more direct support for add-ons.

    Thanks.

Thanks, I didn’t notice the support on GitHub.

We’ll take a look at templates, and I look forward to the video add-on supporting all the YouTube URL parameters.

My mistake about shortcodes, I was getting mixed up with another plugin we’re using for separate functionality.

Thanks for the clarification on the shortcode ??

If you ever need to find the support forum in the future, there are links on the Video add-on’s home page and in the Readme file that’s included in the download when you purchased the add-on.

Perhaps the fastest way to get to the forum though is to click on the “Feedback & Support” link under the Video add-on’s title on your site’s plugins admin page.
