• Hi Guys,

It’s me again. Unfortunately, I can’t get YouTube to pull the correct subscriber count. My channel is : https://www.youtube.com/c/sliceoffit

Unfortunately, with youtube’s new username system I can’t seem to get it together and make it get the correct figure. I’ve tried using the email username, the User ID, nothing works. Could you please help me with which “Username” do I need to use if I’ve just started using youtube and cannot benefit from the old system.

I can’t get a youtube.com/username/XXXXX link because I think youtube doesn’t make it anymore. Would you be able to help me with this one or please let me know if it would be possible to add another option in the menu to make it pull the data from your channel ID rather than only your username?

    Thanks!

Hi sliceoffit, did you try it with the Channel? There is an option for that in the plugin. What is your channel ID?

Hm, I can’t seem to find an option to use the Channel ID for the Subscriber count?

Can you suggest a workaround this? Otherwise I have to keep entering the number manually all the time ??

We’ll look into it, but it may take a bit. Please enter them manually for now.

Thank you so much for looking into this. Don’t get me wrong, the people who have created their channels long time ago could still use the plugin. I’ve tried it on my other channel and it works but for some reason it refuses to work even if I try entering the user ID because I think youtube no longer generates a …/user/**** page for you and just creates some channel with a long Channel ID.

Thanks for looking into this, have a great day !

Could you please install the latest plugin version and try?
