Youtube Embeds Not Loading on Mobile

    Hello!

    Already search for this issue, and found similar on a 2-year old “resolved” thread but which is now closed to replies.

    Installed Complianz a few days ago, and so far it works well most of the time.

    On PC Brave browser which has a setting that a lot of Brave Browser users have (block cookie popups), my Youtube video embeds show up with a notice on to of the video to please “click to allow” cookie consent. No problem, I’m sure the site visitor will just click it, and the cookie notice pops up.

    However, on mobile specifically using Brave browser which by default blocks popups, the Youtube embeds on my website do not load; just an empty rectangle in the place of the video.

    Any fixes for this?

    Just as an update to whoever’s interested; I deactivated Complianz and went back to another cookie consent privacy plugin, and the issue was resolved. I’m NOT saying the other plugin is better (perhaps Complianz has better features, I dunno); but the issue seems resolved. Regards.

    I’m sorry to hear about the trouble, and I apologize for the delayed response, as we’re currently managing a backlog of tickets. Regarding the issue on Brave, I tested a fresh install of Brave on one of our test sites with several YouTube videos, and I couldn’t replicate the issue. The videos loaded every time. This might be related to how the video is embedded and loaded through the theme or widget you’re using.

    If you decide to give Complianz another try, I’d be happy to help troubleshoot this issue with you.

    @antoiub thanks for the reply! Appreciate it. When you tested it, did you use PC or mobile? The issue happens with me specifically on mobile android. (no issues on PC Windows)
