• Hi there,

After the 6.11 update, when I embed a Youtube video, it doesn’t get the “is-youtube” class anymore, and it breaks the design (had CSS attached to the respective class).

    What I get now when embedding YouTube is “wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio”.

Tried using both, the YouTube block, AND the Embed block, same behavior.

Also, I can’t EDIT HTML for the respective block.

Nothing happens when clicking on “Edit HTML” from the contextual menu. The video glitches, and that’s it.

    Is anyone experiencing the same?

I’ve tested various versions, going as far back as 5.0… and I don’t see the class is-youtube on the official YouTube block’s container. So I’m not sure where you were getting it from.

Rather there has always been is-provider-youtube — and 6.1.1 still has this class.

Examine this page for yourself: https://ving-gecko-vozu.instawp.link/6-1-1-test-tube/

(Note: the link above is just a sandbox site I just created: 6.1.1, default TT3 theme, no plugin installed. Site expires in 24 hours)

Something is acting up on your site then.
