YouTube embed issue and poor premium support

It took me an eternity to get the plugin working properly, and to understand the settings. I struggled especially to get the YouTube video placeholder working as expected.

It’s still not perfect, but I changed my review to give it a higher rating based on spending a day trying out all the other cookie plugins and realising they were even worse.

So either it’s me, or getting a cookie consent plugin to take care of YouTube embeds properly is particularly trick and this one does it the best for my particular set up.

I still think the support is rubbish though as I’m still waiting for a response to my question several days later.
