• So I’ve encountered an odd error when viewing the linked page. What I see (screen shot below) is that some of the youtube playlists (I’m using the YourChannel plugin) are showing grey boxes as the playlist covers. When you click on the playlist itself, everything is fine, however.

I’ve tested this on two computers, one running OSX 13.5 Ventura, and another running Catalina. On Ventura, I see these errors on Safari, Chrome and Edge. On Catalina, it only shows on Chrome and Edge. On my iPad and iPhone, there are no errors. I don’t have a windows computer to test it on, but I did communicate to the plugin dev and they mentioned that they’re not experiencing the issue (not sure what platform/browsers they tried).

Any idea of what the issue could be and how to fix it?
    TIA!

  • I just tested it with my own WordPress and I can’t reproduce it. However, the output of the images is based on data that YouTube reports on the playlists. I would therefore rather recommend contacting the YouTube community to clarify this: https://support.google.com/youtube/community

Note: with the plugin you use, you must also regularly clear its cache if you have changed something on Youtube.

@threadi – thanks so much for this bit of info! I’ll discuss with the youtube community that you listed in hopes of getting some feedback and help from someone there.

Forgot to mention that I do regularly clear plugin/server/browser cache when making updates.

    Cheers!
