    We migrated our website to a new host, and now I can’t get YotuWP to work. We have the new IP address correctly entered in the Youtube API, and all the settings there are as recommended by your documentation. But on the video page of the website, your plugin posts a message: “The calling IP address 209.17.114.78 does not match the IP restrictions configured on the API key.”

    However, that is NOT the new IP address, and we DO have the correct IP configured in the Youtube API. I have entered the correct API key into the plugin. I’ve deleted and disabled the YotuWP cache, and deleted the website cache as well. But you plugin keeps looking for the wrong IP, it seems.

    What can I do?

    Please add the IP 209.17.114.78 to your API config.
    Seem your hosting use different for outgoing requests.

    Thanks. Did that, waited a half hour, and it’s still not working. Now the message reads: “Access Not Configured. YouTube Data API has not been used in project 292207195795 before or it is disabled. Enable it by visiting https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/youtube.googleapis.com/overview?project=292207195795 then retry. If you enabled this API recently, wait a few minutes for the action to propagate to our systems and retry.”

    However, I did configure it with the IP 209.17.114.78, and I am using the correct API key. The “Selected APIs” are set to “YouTube Data API v3” for API restrictions.

    I tried deactivating all plugins and using the TwentyTwenty theme. I also tried reinstalling the plugin and regenerating the playlist shortcode, and regenerating the API key.

    Also, I noticed the plugin hasn’t been updated for over a year, and WordPress says it’s not configured for the latest WP version. Could this have something to do with it? Will you be updating the plugin soon?

    Okay, I created a New Project in the Google API, and it’s working now. Thanks.

    Still would like to know, do you plan on updating the plugin?
