    once the “play” button is clicked, the normal embedded YouTube player is loaded and it should act the same as a normal YT vid, so you should indeed see ads yes.

    Thanks! The reason I asked is because so far I haven’t seen any ads on my embedded videos. Tried multiple videos both on phone and desktop. I know it’s possible that YT is just not serving ads to me at that time. Is there a setting I can check too?

    hmm, assuming you did see ads when you were not using LYTE, I guess this *could* be due to the vid being loaded fromm the youtube-nocookie.com domain instead of youtube.com. There is no setting for that, but if you want you can test by changing youtube-nocookie.cominto youtube.com inside wp-content/wp-youtube-lyte/lyte/lyte.min.js?
