I just got the message “You’re running debug mode, it’s using Resources and not recommend to run continuously” on the dashboard of one of my sites. After a bit of digging, I found it’s coming from W3 Total Cache.

Thanks for the message; it is helpful as i didn’t realise I had left one of the debug settings on. However could you please remember that users aren’t going to instantly know what plugin a message is from unless you tell them. I’d like to at least see a “Turn it off” button added to the alert which takes us to the W3TC settings so we don’t have to hunt around on the net to find what plugin it’s from.

    Thanks,
    Graham

    Hello @greyham

Thank you for taking the time to suggest this.
However, I have a question to clarify this. The “You’re running debug mode” message should only be visible in W3 Total Cache Dashboard or any W3TC setting page and should not be visible in the Wp-admin dashboard or any other page outside W3TC settings.
Can you please confirm if you can see that message anywhere outside W3 Total Cache?
    Thanks!

Thanks Marko. Well that makes a bit more sense then; but the message appears on the Plugins page, which is where I first noticed it. It doesn’t seem to appear elsewhere outside of W3 Total Cache that I’ve noticed.
