“Your WordPress version is visible to others”

    Not important, but I’m curious why I get this warning on my dashboard for every one of the many sites where this plugin is installed, even though the ‘hardening’ option to hide the WP version is turned on.

    Is the notice generated before hardening, and simply isn’t auto-dismissed?
