    Hello there Sticky List users.

First off, thank you for making Sticky List a great plugin by reporting bugs, requesting features and support!

I’m thinking about maybe releasing a premium version of Sticky List. The reason for this is, as always, time.

I do not have enough time to support and develop this plugin for free. Therefor I’m thinking about releasing a premium version that would be available for purchase for $25. This premium version would have all features from the free version plus:

    • Multi page form support
    • Multiple file upload
    • List sorting and search (using list.js)
    • List pagination
    • Fully compatible with Gravity Forms “limit entries” and “No Duplicates” features
    • Create/edit/delete WordPress posts from the front end
    • Use existing entries as templates for duplication
    • Export list to .csv from front end
    • Abillity to control all settings from within the shortcode

Some features would then be removed from the free version to make it easier to maintain and support.

The premium version would give you access to all features + 1 year support and updates. The free version would be limited to bug fixes and security updates.

Although there is an option to donate money I have only received a handful of donations so I simply cant afford to spend as much time as I would like developing and supporting Sticky List.

However, before doing this, I would like to get input from users regarding my plans. So here are a few questions for you:

    • Would you be willing to pay $25 annually for a premium version of Sticky List including more features, updates and support?
    • What do you think about removing some features from the free version and moving them to the premium version?
    • Are there any additional features that you would like to see?

    Thanks again!

  • I’d pay for the pro version, for sure.

I would pay for the pro version

    I’d pay

    I would pay.
I use GF to create a custom post, when I make a change to the template field I would like to be able to update all the entries at once. Any chance this would make it in to the premium version? I’d pay extra for that!

Perhaps $25 is a bit steep for an annual, recurrent fee. I prefer a monthly payment and I think $1/month is fair.

    Additional features (if possible):

    1. Better control over column widths
    2. Better layout control. These’s a limit to how many columns can be placed on a page. Aligning columns into rows would be a useful feature.
    3. A method for adding categories to form entries would be useful too (thus making lists searchable by category)

I’d pay a bit more for that (plus all the other features you list).

I would pay more then $25.00 for this plugin in a second. However, a couple of things to consider.

    1. Using List.js will require that all entries are loaded and then pagination features load. This is extremely horrible when you have 5000+ entries.

    2. Having a “Import Entries” add-on would revolutionize Gravity Forms. We have some pretty elaborate forms and often receive XLS files that they want imported. 100’s of entries (Product Registrations).

    3. Integration with Gravity Forms User Registration would be insane as well.

    4. Change $_GET to $_POST. This will allow one to use external plugins to List and Search (XCRUD).

    5. In addition to the search feature, having an additional “Where” box of sorts would be great!

If you’d like to chat more and see what we’ve done, send me an email. What you are doing is what every single person that uses Gravity Forms wants.

    Thanks for all the work!!

Thanks Mike! You have been a great supporter from the start. I have thought about implementing a GET request. I think it is a good idea. I’ll take a look at it tomorrow. I’ll shoot you an email later this week to chat some more.

    I would pay too.

Another feature that would be great (I think) would be to change line 823 of your plugin to either add rel=\lightbox or place a admin checkbox that reads something like “Open images in Lightbox”. Not all wordpress users set lightbox as a default for all images.

When we click an attachment, it opens in the same window, users have to hit the back button to get to the previous screen.

Hope this one makes the cut too!

    Thanks for a great plugin!

i would pay instantly for the export to .csv from front end based on the search/filter.

In fact, i’ll pay you to send me some code that would handle that right now!

I would love to pay for the premium version of this plugin for sure if it works for my site. Please have a look at the ticket I have created and sort, I am willing to buy right away.

    Thanks and Regards,
    RoohiG

Yes export to .CSV is an amazing feature please add this to premium version. It will be extremely essential feature. We are willing to pay for it.
