  • Your theme has 1 widget area, but this particular page doesn’t display it.
    You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.

    Trying to go through customizer to add a widget and get this message. This frustratingly makes absolutely no sense to me. I just want to add the widget to the page. Why does a simple task have to have a road block that makes 100% no sense?

    Add widget. Should be no issue. But instead of a button to add a widget I get a message that I’m on a page that doesn’t display it. What?!?! What other page am I supposed to use?

    Could you attach a screenshot with this message so I can understand where should I look in order to see it? I just want to investigate a bit and see why is this happening.

    Basically, you can edit the widgets any time but these elements are made to appear only on specific pages. This is a part that the theme is taking care of.

    You can use an online service like https://imgur.com/upload to upload an image.

    Regarding your website, I just tried to access it but it seems that there’s a privacy error and you’ll need to fix it first before checking the widget problem.

    The problem was I was using Microsoft Edge. Never again will I be using Microsoft Edge. It is as bad if not worse than Chrome. In Firefox my widget addition is working.
