Your store is not using https

  • I have installed paypal pro on my e commerce website however it is not functioning as it states “PayPal-Pro gateway requires SSL certificate for better security. The Secure checkout option is disabled on your site. Please ensure your server has a valid SSL certificate so you can enable the SSL option on your checkout page”
    Our website has a valid SSL certificate and is running as https however as I went into Woo commerce>settings>status and scrolled way down and it states “Secure connection (HTTPS): Your store is not using HTTPS. Learn more about HTTPS and SSL Certificates.” at the security section. We have tried to force the checkout to use HTTPS however the setting isn’t changing to yes. We are currently using Woocommerce 6.3.1 and we are approved for paypal pro with no limitations on our account. Could you please explain what has gone wrong.

  • What’s your site address so I can take a look?

    My guess is that you may be doing SSL redirection at the server level, but WordPress itself may be configured with HTTP address.
