    hmm somehow in 7 days mine went from Rank: 196,121
    to Technorati Rank: 151,282

    I like that! now if i could just get alexia to use those numbers…

    As Technorati indexes and re-indexes, it sees fluctuations in the number of links. That’s why you can do nothing and get a different ranking. And, it has nothing to do with traffic, just link love.

    I have just started a new web directory mainsearches.com
    I wanting to start building incoming links to it, I have heard that I should build my incoming links up slowly to avoid being penalised by google.
    Can anyone tell me if this is true?
    Any help on this would be really appreciated.
