    Hi. I use on my website “Yoast SEO Plugin”. I am make all good. Select all what i want to index, make robots.txt file and i will leave screenshot to see how looks my robots.txt file.

    • Sitemap can be read, but has errors
    • Sitemap is HTML
    • “Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.”

    Check screenshot and hope to help me because this is not big error and mistake of website. I don’t know what i need to fix this? 

    I use Litespeed Cache plugin. Maybe have problem with caching my sitemap? When i not use caching plugin this is the same not load good sitemap, when i use other seo plugin all is good. Only on your plugin show this error if you not help me i will use other seo plugin “all in one” and pay for package for them not for you.

    Hello @cira66

    Thanks for reaching out about your XML sitemap; I confirmed it’s XML and not HTML. It’s not uncommon for Google to report an XML as HTML. It’s a false-positive that usually resolves, though you may have to resubmit the sitemap index a couple of times.

    Read this sitemap like HTML… What is this and how to fix this? Maybe have problem with your plugin how to send to google. Check on screenshot

    I applay sitemap last 3 months… When i applay 3 days is okay sitemap is green and then show error next 20 days yout sitemap is HTML error. What is this? Only on your plugin this show…

    What i can do? I use W3 Total Cache plugin. Maybe he make problem? How to setup W3 total cache to not cache my sitemap or robots? How to solve this tell me? @maybellyne
