    Hi,

after the istallation and the activation of the plugin, I’ve this message:

Sign in with Google to set up Site Kit
The Site Kit service will guide you through 3 simple setup steps.

Your site may not be ready for Site Kit
Looks like you may be using a caching plugin which could interfere with setup. Please deactivate any caching plugins before setting up Site Kit. You may reactivate them once setup has been completed.

I’ve another site with Site Kit (giuseppesalzillo.it) and it work perfectly with the same plugin istalled. I do not know why!? for t23.it it does not work?!

    Help me, please!

    Thanks in advances.

Yes! Now all is ok! Thanks.

@giuseppesalzillo great to hear! Feel free to leave a review about your experience with Site Kit.

To fix this error, you have to Check your site settings: In your WordPress dashboard, go to Settings > General. Verify that your WordPress Address (URL) either matches your Site Address (URL) or contains your full Site Address (URL) in its address, If you have an HTTPS website, make sure that both URLs have an HTTPS prefix.

    ? This works
    WordPress Address (URL)
    https://example.com
    Site Address (URL)
    https://example.com

    X This doesn’t work
    WordPress Address (URL)
    https://example.com
    Site Address (URL)
    https://example.com

Then, Switch your active WordPress theme: To default WordPress theme such as Twenty Nineteen.

Also, install Site Kit with an incognito/private window.

lastly, Temporarily disable any potential security/ad blocker or firewall software: Before you set up Site Kit, temporarily disable software such as firewall or security applications running on your computer or your web hosting provider. After you successfully set up Site Kit, you can enable the security, ad blocker, or firewall software. For more information, check the known limitations.

@cmoretti741 If you’d like to open a new support topic we’d be happy to assist with your case individually.

Please include all relevant information to your support topic, including your Site Health Information if relevant. You can also follow the suggestions in the notice you encounter, and temporarily deactivate any caching plugins during setup. If you have no caching plugins active check from a browser incognito window, or share your Site Health information after opening a support topic.

Message for James Osborne….Hi, you had offered to help someone who was installing Google Site Kit and received the message: “Error: We’ve detected there’s already an existing Analytics tag on your site (ID UA-106821919-1), but your account doesn’t seem to have access to this Analytics property. You can either remove the existing tag and connect to a different account, or request access to this property from your team.”

I am beyond my capabilities. Are you possibly able to assist?

    Thank you in advance

    Bonjour,

Je m’adresse à vous car j’ai installé et activé le plugin Site Kit by Google, mais j’ai le message suivant qui appara?t :

    “Site Kit by Google Logo
Congratulations, the Site Kit plugin is now activated.
Your site may not be ready for Site Kit
Looks like you may be using a caching plugin which could interfere with setup. Please deactivate any caching plugins before setting up Site Kit. You may reactivate them once setup has been completed.

Help us improve the Site Kit plugin by allowing tracking of anonymous usage stats. All data are treated in accordance with Google Privacy Policy”

    Cdt,

    Jules
