Thanks for reaching out. To try and determine the cause of this in your case please share the following information:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred. Please include your current hosting provier where requested in the form or here within a response.
    2. Have you been able to setup Site Kit on this site or another site on the same hosting provider previously?

In other cases there were firewalls or hosting related features impacting users setup. Once we have the above we can perform some additional troubleshooting checks.

    I have submitted the form!
    Thank you!

Thanks for sharing Site Health information.

This is more likely an issue at the host level. It looks like you have a Windows setup, with other users reporting encountering the same issue based on their PHP configuration.

In order to proceed with Site Kit setup can you ask your hosting if there are any restrictions such as WAF rules or PHP/SSL configurations which is not allowing your site to connect to https://sitekit.withgoogle.com?

If your hosting provide isn’t able to provide any additional insights feel free to share a video or screen recording of your experience, with Chrome developer tools open, showing any console errors which appear. You can use a service such as RecordIt or Loom to share.

    Best Regards,

    @publicisimo ,

    Hello,
I didn’t manage to set up Site Kit. I am still waiting for a reply from my hosting company. They said they are looking into the problem because it shouldn’t be an issue on their part.

    I’ll keep you updated.
    Thank you!

    Hello @publicisimo ,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Please ask your host to apply following command in wp-cli just to make sure your server is not blocking Site Kit service for communication.

    wp eval 'print_r(wp_remote_head("https://sitekit.withgoogle.com"));'

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hello,

Sorry for the late reply. I managed to get Site Kit working on my website.
Unfortunately, I can’t provide you any useful information because the issue was solved by the hosting company’s support.
    Thank you!
