Last week, I couldn’t access my site from work. Then I experienced the same thing at home. I ran through a number of tests then contacted my host, WPEngine who told me that I was blocked because ‘bad requests’ were coming from my ip and it was likely a faulty plugin. The solution was for them to whitelist me and it worked (but I’m worried about using my laptop on any other network until the problem is fixed.)

Then I received this auto generated email from WordPress:
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Campaign Monitor.

9 days and no word from support? I’m shocked. I thought Campaign Monitor was making an effort to get this plugin functional again!

I was just getting ready to thank you for your response and wish you luck with reviewing the details when I saw your 2nd response about the updates that rolled out. Thanks for letting me/us know that you were working on it.

I updated the plugin to 2.8.1 and activated it. I tried to sign up on my site and it quickly showed ‘processing,’ then, ‘Email not added. Please try again.’ showed up in red under the Name field. I checked the settings and client id and client secret fields are showing. In Forms, List: it says ‘List Not Found’
When I edit the form, Client is blank and clicking the dropdown does not show anything. I tried deactivating and activating and logged out and back in, but I couldn’t get it to work.

    Hi @discomidget ,

    No worries at all.

Could you please try reconnecting the plugin?

There should be a button under the settings page to disconnect the plugin and then connect again. Your form should still be there after reconnecting the plugin.

    Thanks!

Thanks for confirming those steps. I clicked: disconnect, connect, allow access, verify, and entered a test email. Everything worked and I confirmed it was added to the customer list. Thank you for your hard work in getting it working again!
