    Hi,

    after last update of your plugin all of our websites crashed and couldn’t be reached. After running WP in “recovery mode” it turns out it is because of your plugin. I deactivated it for now and waiting for another update, I guess.

    Just wanted to ask if anyone else has the same issue as us or if there is something wrong on our side.

    Thank you very much in advance.

    Best regards,
    Tomá? Novák

    Hello,
    You’re welcome. We are happy to see the issue is resolved now with the latest update.
    Thank you for reporting the issue.
    Please don’t hesitate to open a new Post if anything else comes up or if you have any new/unrelated question.
    Kind regards.

    @novistheking Thank you for posting this error and @wpdatatables for providing the fix . We got the same error when we tried to activate plugin wpDataTables version 2.1.78 on our WordPress core version 6.4.1. After we upgraded the core to version 6.4.2, we could update the plugin to version 2.1.79 and were able to activate the plugin without errors.

    Cheers ??

    Hello @rikwouters,
    Just a small follow up.
    Thank you for letting us know that the issue got resolved on your end, as well, we are happy to hear that.
    In the meantime, our devs launched another new update, which will resolve those false positive warnings from some Security Plugins, so we advise it is best to update to our latest Plugin version, for both Lite or Premium Users, and that issue is also finally resolved.
    But we will be here, if you notice any other/new issue, please don’t hesitate to open a new Post.
    Thanks again.

    I get the error message below when I click on the wpDataTables table to download as CSV or XLS.

    “Error
    You are trying to load a table of unknown type. Probably you have not activated the extension required to use this table type.”

    Now the version that we have is wpDataTables 3.4.2.1
    WP Version: 6.4.2
    PHP Version: 8.2.12
    MySQL Version: 8.0.33

    I have purchased the Report Builder extension for wpDataTables to try to resolve the issue but when I go to activate the plugin I get the message: The Report Builder extension requires wpDataTables version 3.5.

    Do you have a version 3.5?

    It has worked in the past to download the tables as CSV or XLS without the Report Builder plugin.

    I am grateful for a quick response as it is a website that is in great need of being able to download its data.

    Hello,
    1. When it comes to that error you see that says “You are trying to load a table of unknown type. Probably you have not activated the extension required to use this table type.”;
    This means you most probably had the full/Premium version of our Plugin, and made some Tables which are not available in the Lite/Free Plugin;
    Then you somehow ‘downgraded’ your installation to the Lite Version, thus that error comes up.

    The solution for that is to delete your Lite/free version and install the full/premium version, but we are not allowed to discuss any details about the Premium Plugin or Add-ons here;
    If you require further help on this,
    please open a ticket on our?main Support platform here, and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.

    Thank you for understanding.?

    Kind regards.

    I require assistance urgently. My website is inaccessible, and I’m quite distressed about it. The situation has caught me off guard, and I’m unsure how long this critical error has persisted. Given that I invest a significant sum monthly in Yelp for increased website traffic, this issue is particularly concerning.

    Today, I initiated a PHP upgrade via the Cpanel on my website management portal. Despite the upgrade indicating success with WordPress now at version 6.3, I’m still encountering the same persistent error preventing access to my site. The error message specifies a requirement for version 8.0, but I’m unsure where to find this for further upgrade.

    In the portal, it indicates the PHP version as 8.1.27. Does this mean I currently have version 8.1.27 installed? If so, why am I still encountering the error message regarding Composer dependencies necessitating PHP version “>= 8.0.0”? The error message received on attempting to access the website is: “Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 8.0.0″. There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.” Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
