"Your Simple Share Buttons need configuration…" Personal Solution

  • This quote was popping up on my dashboard: “Your Simple Share Buttons need configuration before they will appear. View the tutorial video here”

    -I couldn’t drag the share buttons to configure the plugin and it would’t save any other changes I made.
    -I couldn’t click the ‘styling’, ‘counters’, or ‘advanced’ tabs.

    I’d recently installed a Walmart Affiliate plugin. Upon deletion all was well again.

    Apparently Simple Share doesn’t work well with that Walmart plugin.

    Hi guys,

    I’ll try and look into this when I can.

    In the meantime, if you disable the Walmart plugin, set your share buttons up, then enable Walmart again you should be fine.
