[your-recipient] in mail tab doesn’t work

I have set up a list of recipients in the form using the rules listed here:

However, in the mail tab, when I add [your-recipient] to the to or from fields in the mail tab, I get a configuration error. Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!
