Your opinion on my site's theme?

  • Hi,

    Please take a look at my site, it’s basically built on with a vanilla Hueman theme, which I really like straight out of the box. I’m trying to decide if to modify it, which I’ve always done with other sites I’ve built. Although I’m really struggling with my decision as I fell in love with the them as soon as I added it. Now I feel like I’ve got the blinkers on.

    Do you think it looks too generic as an out of the box vanilla theme?

    Complex as in the Menu / Categories or the actual theme?

    My concern is that it’s basically an unedited click to install theme, even the colours are the defaults.

    I guess to the average guy who has no knowledge of the default hueman theme, wouldn’t know any different?

    I want a clean highly responsive theme, which I think this. But i’m stuck in the “if it ain’t broken don’t try to fix it” mindset I guess

    It is very clean website. I tried using this one but I never figured out how to input my social media links.

    My only thought was the layout with all of the different pictures and posts. If there is some way you can spread them out. My two cents but it still looks nice.

    Hi jacob,

    If you are interested, the social links are not actually on the wordpress auto install of the theme, but if you download the theme from his site and extract it manually, those social links will appear along with a load of other back end settings.

    Thanks for your feedback, those pics on the right sidebar are option, I might disable that widget.
