your-name not captured with HelpScout

    Hello,

    I use a Contact Form 7 form to send email messages to my HelpScout account. Everything works fine, except that the [your-name] tag is dropped. As a result, I only have the email address of people in HelpScout, and not their actual name.

    These are my settings:
    To: [email protected]
    From: [your-name] <[email protected]>
    Additional headers: Reply-To: [your-name] <[your-email]>

    Do you might know which setting/tag I can try so that the [your-name] tag is not dropped?

  • Please include all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface.

    The issue was solved, I suspect it occurred because I also included the [your-name] and [your-email] in the message body. That might have confused HelpScout.

    It all works fine now. ??
