• 1) On my front page I list all articles belonging to the category “Home”. Some posts belong both the “Articles” category, and the “Home” category as well. How can I modify the “Articles” category page to display only articles that don’t belong to “Home”?

    2) My theme works for some blogs, but on some I get the message “Page not found” on my index page. All other pages still work fine, it’s just the front page that I’m having problems with. And it’s not the 404 that it displays, it’s something else.

  • 1. You’d need to create a catgeory template for the Articles category and use query_posts to exclude posts in the Home category.

    2. No real idea. It very much depends upon how your theme and/or index page is configured and, possibly, what permalink structure is being used on the blog. Perhaps that template file assumes a specific permalink structure?
