Your homepage cannot be indexed by search engines. This is very bad for SEO

Hi All,

I have read & followed few threads here at wordpress forum on this same topic. Still the issue for me did not get resolved. Moreover this has led to deindexing of my pages in Google. Also my site’s domain authority & page authority has dropped due to this error.

When i login into my wordpress admin panel i see the error as –
“Your homepage cannot be indexed by search engines. This is very bad for SEO and should be fixed.”
This is throwed by yoast plugin.

In my webmaster tools account i see, google shows as 403 server error – Googlebot couldn’t crawl your URL because your server either requires authentication to access the page, or it is blocking Googlebot from accessing your site

When i contacted my hosting account, they say no issues from server side at all. Issue is with wordpress or Google. I am lost now. Hence as a last resort have opened this new thread.

P.S: I created an account at onpage.org. It shows the error as – Status Code: 403
Primary error = Header Status is 4xx (Client Error)
Status Code 403 – Forbidden
The request was a valid request, but the server is refusing to respond to it. Unlike a 401 Unauthorized response, authenticating will make no difference.
