When I add the App ID and the App secret, which are correct, the secret is colored red. When I click to Save Changes, I get this error:
    —–
Facebook returned an unexpected error: An unknown error has occurred.
Try to resolve this issue, update the plugin or inform the author about the problem.

I have waited a while, and also tried resetting the secret to no avail.

Thanks in advance for your help, great plugin!

  • Thank you SO MUCH, mtschirs!!! Great job!

The fix does not work for me (I updated to the latest version). As others have noted in other threads, it may not work for a fan page.

    Hi you all,

Sorry again for the inconvenience, this time Facebook changed the FQL-API. I was able to solve the problem and will shortly release the update (currently I am testing and improving the code of the bugfix).

Now I just wish that Facebook stops being hyperactive for a while ??

Hi! Still not working with FAN page!

    I wait you new fix!!!

    Thanks again!

Actually, it was not the FQL-API but a bug (https://bugs.developers.facebook.net/show_bug.cgi?id=19336) in the Facebook graph protocol.

Until Facebook resolves this problem, your wordpress articles are no longer published to your facebook page “links” but to your facebook page “feed”. The difference: There will be no share link and your visitors will see a “published via YOUR_FACEBOOK_APP” below the message on your wall.

I hope Facebook resolves the problem soon so that I can switch back to the old method.

The new version (0.3.6) should be available for download in ~5-10 minutes.

0.3.6 work now, but i dont like text posted via ….
wait for fb fix this bug

    Hi nadiamode,

Facebook fixed the problem today (https://bugs.developers.facebook.net/show_bug.cgi?id=19324) and the new version 0.3.7 will post your articles as expected (without ‘via’).

@all: Thank you again for reporting the problem

very nice, now support all custom post types too

better to post via /links because facebook.com/twitter app does not tweet if that link come from /feed, it tweet (via fb app) only /links

    Hi Catherine,

can you embed a fan page in wordpress page?

Perhaps, but what does this have to to with this plugin? Could you explain in more detail what you want to do?
