    Hello,

To begin with, I have taken the following steps in order to see if I could resolve this particular issue:

    1. I have all the plugins, theme, and WordPress core up to the latest versions.
    2. I have checked the theme and there are no code snippets related to anything WooCommerce.
    3. I have disabled CDN, and server caching.
    4. I have disabled all plugins and keep only WooCommerce active.
    5. I have disabled, deleted, and re-installed WooCommerce.
    6. I have checked WooCommerce status, and there are no red flags whatsoever.
    7. I have switched themes, first to Storefront, then to Twenty Seventeen.
    8. I have tested with Ajax enabled and disabled.
    9. I cleared transients, terms, and sessions.
    10. I also saved (flushed) permalinks.
    11. I have checked the site on multiple browsers, even with Incognito.
    12. I have done tests, logged in as Admin, and logged out as general public.
    13. And I have checked and re-checked all WooCommerce settings.

Even thus I have gone to great lengths to have the issue resolved, it returns the warning: Your basket is currently empty.

The warning shows each time an item is added to the Cart, without been logged in to the site, however, while logged in, it adds the item to the cart without issues.

WooCommerce is set to accept orders from non-registered users, that can either decide on checkout if they want or not create an account.

It seems to me that this is a WooCommerce issue, since that by disabling plugins, switching themes, and even checking the server settings and WooCommerce configuration did not resolve the issue.

Any help getting this issue resolved would be greatly appreciated, mostly because after going back and forward, searching on this support forum, I am yet to find a proper solution to this problem.

    Kind regards,

    Alex

  • Hi @alexdeborba,

That sounds like you have done most of the troubleshooting that we would request! Typically when this is happening for non-logged in users, it is most likely a setting in the server cache, or something in the database not correctly submitting. Check out this link:

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/31533606/woocommerce-cart-empty-for-non-logged-in-users

and get with your Host (we see that it is Go Daddy) to see if there is an issue in the database or they have something set in the cache for the Cart page that you may be unaware of.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hello @nixiack8

Small correction there: The domain is registered with GoDaddy, but the site it is hosted with CloudWays.

I will try to see if the link that you shared leads to any resolution, and post here my findings.

    Regards,

    Alex
