The “Your backup folder is NOT writable” displays after I migrated my site to another host. The problem is the server path has changed. The plugin is looking for the old server path to the backup-db directory.

I tried deactivating and re-activating the plugin. That did not work.

I scanned through the options table in the database and could not locate the row where I need to change this? What is the option_name where this info is stored? Is it stored somewhere other than the options table?

The only option is stored on the WP-Admin -> Database -> DB Options. You can try ignoring the message to see if you can back up. Sometimes because of different server config, the plugin might report wrongly.

That was it. I changed the path on the DB Options page. The problem is fixed.

That was too easy. I was looking in the wrong place because most plugins do not offer easy options for changes.

    Thanks, Lester.
