So I am trying to add a new Private Token to the plugin in the back end of a site I manage, however it’s not working.

I add the key in and it goes green and also accepts the key and shows the event underneath, when I click save it says ” Something failed with the key: ” but doesn’t give me an error. Then it refreshes itself and the box turns red and says Not Connected (try again)

The strangest part of all this is the the event page I have set up on the website still works with ticket ordering working even though the backend says the key doesn’t work.

    Website is https://howlnewcastle.com/

Your host is 20i – we see this often with 20i and no other host at the moment.

You IP has been blocked by Eventbrite’s Cloudfront firewall.

It has decided not to trust your IP. Normally because your IP is shared by bad neighbors.

In you case 6,488 domains hosted are on IP address 185.151.30.176

The only practical solution is to get your host to change your IP or move to a host that doesn’t give you the chance of so many bad neighbors.

Your events continue to show as the plugin caches results for 24 hours. Unfortunately when the cache expires no events will show.

p.s. looking at your site it seems you are not actually using my plugin on the front end explaining why you can still see events

The page /events-tickets/ is definitely not my plugin.

And on the home page the shortcode event-feed is not mine either

    Hi Alan,

Thanks for the reply, I think there may be a caching issue with the site itself as I have changed the code on the front page to the slider shortcode that was built on the shortcode builder you have.

Do you think the issue with the site IP could be causing issues with other Eventbrite-related plugins? I was originally using another plugin for the main page but was having similar issues so decided to just switch to yours as it seems to be a better plugin.

Yes the block is between your host and Eventbrite so it would impact any plugin that calls Evetbrite from your server.

    p.s

slider shortcode is a premium feature as a free user there are only two layouts ‘card’ and ‘widget’ – when you use the demo builder make sure you select the free setting so you only see the free options
