    Hi,

I followed the setup for Outlook/Office365, I created the App and Secret in Azure, but after I clicked on the “Authenticate with Office365 & Get Access Token” button and signed in, I only get an empty white box for “Your Access Code” and the url contains “/wp-json/fluent-smtp/outlook_callback?error=invalid_request&error_description= … ”

What could cause the issue ?
Any idea to solve it ?

    Thank you.
    Max.

    Update :

Choosing the option “Accounts in any organizational directory (Any Azure AD directory – Multitenant)” in >Authentication in Azure’s option, solved this previous issue.

But now, there is the error “The mailbox is either inactive, soft-deleted, or is hosted on-premise.” :/

    This is a shared mailbox.
    Can it work ?

This type of issue comes if you are using an admin account that does not have a mailbox. Other than that, the error also comes if your account does not have an Exchange Online mailbox.
If you have a valid Exchange Online Mailbox and your account is not an admin account then you can contact Microsoft regarding this as the error comes from their end.

    Hi Ibrahim,

Thanks a lot for your feedback !

Indeed, I was logged with my admin account that doesn’t have the User mailbox.
With the User mailbox account it works !

Thinking about security, it is recommended to use the Outlook/Office365 Authentication of the main account (with the User mailbox), on several websites using shared mailboxes for each website ?
This is only to get WordPress emails (contact form and technical/maintenance emails), not for mass marketing campaigns.

    Hello Maxmle,

    You are welcome!
If you do not send bulk emails or have too low a volume to send from your website you may use the shared email account.

I would recommend using AWS SES type delivery provider for Transactional Emails for your website which also supports multiple authentications for multiple websites for the same email or domain.

Thanks for the tips, I will check this.

    Good day.
