• At first glance, this looks like a really nice plug-in with a lot of cool features. It is broken, however. It might work fine if this is the only plug-in you were using and you weren’t wanting more than a standard, basic theme.

I also noticed slow response times and causing the site to be slow. When entering an address, you have to enter it exactly as Google has it or it throws an error.

If the plug-in played nice with other WordPress plug-ins and themes, I would have given this a five star rating. Sadly, one of the plug-in’s authors deserves a negative star rating for really bad customer relations. Any chance of using this plug-in or buying any add-on features came to a halt after dealing with his attitude. See Errors in programming in the support section.

    **** UPDATE 7/29/2014 ****

Periodically I check my reviews to see if they are still accurate.

I had to lower my rating since some of the issues mentioned to the authors before have not been corrected, even though there have been updates made.

Before, when dealing with the author of this plug-in, they took my observations as an attack and became defensive. I do not intend to debate this nor exchange emails.

My recommendation to anyone who even tries this plug-in, be aware that it does not uninstall cleanly and can potentially cause problems.

    Hi Paul,

I really think this is a harsh review ??

    It is broken

It’s not broken it has a conflict with another plugin that does similar things.

We are working on templates and css conflicts and i have offered to chat with you on skype about your website.

We are a new product of course we will have small bugs at first but we are dealing with them as they come in, we have released 4 updates in our first month.

I read over all Paolo’s messages to you and could not find anything offensive, please please please read over them again yourself, Paolo is Italian and may not type with the same manorisms but it’s certainly not offensive.

This is also my business and a bad review feels very personal, i would like you to be a satisfied customer, my offer still stands of chatting things over on skype.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

I don’t want to debate either. However also bbpress, a wordpress plugin made by wordpress people uninstall exactly like ours. Only removes files and leave database tables and data intact.

In all fairness, would you say that bbpress is badly coded for this or that wordpress people don’t know how to develop a wordpress plugin?

In addition, I’ve told you that we would look into it just yesterday. We haven’t updated since yesterday.

Thank you anyway for your feedback and good luck with your website.

This update was written before your response in the support form. Why haven’t you looked at it before? It was first reported two months ago and you have updated a couple of times since then.

Regardless of bbpress, which does not do as you say, your plug-in should work properly.

I’m sorry I tried to help you. Your behavior here shows people, considering your plug-in, what they can expect should they have an issue.

My sites are all working fine. Thankfully, I have received excellent responses from the authors of the free plug-ins and those that I have purchased.

For the 1st part sorry, I noticed this update only today and I assumed it came after discussion happened in the support forum. My bad.

Why haven’t you looked at it before? It was first reported two months ago and you have updated a couple of times since then.

We haven’t looked at the uninstall part, because we think that it is not a real priority. One person ever asked for it and we really don’t think it is so urgent.

    Allow me to explain why:

bbpress : deleting the plugin removes only the plugin files, all data entered through the plugin remain in the database. bbpress doesn’t add database tables, it uses only wp default tables.

buddypress : deleting the plugin removes only the plugin files. All database tables, pages and database entries are preserved, like in our plugin.

woocommerce : deleting the plugin removes part of its custom database tables leaving wp_woocommerce_order_itemmeta and wp_woocommerce_order_item, while all data concerning products remain in the database.

Check for yourself before accusing me of being a liar. Install > activate > create a test product > deactivate > delete > reinstall > testproduct still there, same goes with bbpress and buddyrpess… ??

If the developers of such popular plugins (2 from wordpress people themselves) didn’t bother after years to include a script that would delete everything their plugin did in the database… why should we, after only 3 months?

Does that make our plugin worth 1 star? If you think it is, we accept it.

    Thank you.
