    Hi, I’m having problems with a client website where credit card payments are failing with the error: You specified “never” for fields.billing_details.name when creating the payment Element, but did not pass confirmParams.payment_method_data.billing_details.name when calling stripe.confirmSetup(). If you opt out of collecting data via the payment Element using the fields option, the data must be passed in when calling stripe.confirmSetup().

    Applepay ang GooglePay are both working fine. My client set the payment section up with woocommerce when they were ready to start selling so I’m not sure what’s been missed.

    I have updated themes, plugins and wordpress to latest versions. I am using test card numbers to replicate but my client is using their own card to test the process.

    I have deactivated and reactivated plugins. No luck. I’m sure it’s probably a simple solutions but I’ve spent days trying to figure it out. Help!

    I understand you’re encountering an error when processing credit card payments, specifically related to the billing_details.name field in Stripe.

    Since Apple Pay and Google Pay are working fine, this suggests the issue might be with the Checkout form fields.

    I visited your site and attempted to add a product to the cart, but I encountered a 404 error on all product pages. Are you able to add products to the cart on your end?

    To help diagnose further, could you please provide a copy of your site’s System Status Report?
    You can find this by navigating to WooCommerce > Status, then selecting Get system report and Copy for support.

    Thanks for sharing the SSR. I’ve tried to take a closer look at this on the site, however it seems that the “Add to Cart” button is not visible on the Shop or Single product pages, which limits our testing on the Checkout page:

    It looks like you’re currently using WooPayments. We’ve seen this error come up due to conflicts with other plugins (or custom code), and although related to the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin, it is likely to be the same case here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/2636#issuecomment-1936662772

    It looks like something is breaking the Stripe plugin’s code leading to that error when you try processing payments. I would recommend running through a conflict test to see if you’re able to identify the cause –?https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.?

    If the conflict test makes no difference, since this forum is dedicated to support related to the free WooCommerce core plugin, can you please start a new topic in the WooPayments support forum for further help with this?
