You should preload `optional` fonts for use by first-time visitors

    PageSpeed say that I should preloade optional fonts for use by first-time visitors. (Schriftarten mit font-display: optionalvorab laden.)

    Is this only possible with the Prov version of Autoptimize, or
    do I can also use the CSS instruction font-display: swap; accelerate?

    AOPro does not have functionality to force font-display to be “swap” or “optional” no. AO (free) does have settings on the “extra” tab for Google Fonts, so if you use those that might help?

    Thank you for your quick response. Since I’ve been using the plugin, I’ve activated the Remove Google Fonts function. Didn’t know about the display swap option. But since the swap option blocks rendering, I prefer to leave the fonts removed.
