Just use one user that can access your two blogs. ??

Yes. i have done that too. There is only one user defined in both blogs. What could be wrong??

There is very often just that problem. Your user should have access to these two blogs. If there is already an user that can access these two blogs then you must go ahead with the configuration of the plugin in each blog. Just save your settings for the Multisite Language Switcher in the admin dashboard (double-check the reference user in your case).

    Thanks for the quick reply.

This is what i have checked:
    – Verify current user under reference user field: admin
    – That user used to be the only user available
    – Change that user from admin to blackray
    – reference user dropdown still shows “admin”
    – created new user with different email – “other”
    – reference user dropdown appear to have both “admin” and “other”
    – both blogs change to “other” with reference user
    – logout and log back in
    – still doesn’t work under page –> edit

Thanks again Dennis. Much appreciate your help on this

    Hi Dennis,

Thanks for the quick response so far.

I have change the language for the cn blog to be Chinese.
Reference user is a newly created one called “translate” for both sites

I have tried manipulating .htaccess file as well as the wpconfig file.

    Still no success…

I really want to get this working… (sob)

Please make a screenshot of the plugin settings. There is nothing to set in .htaccess or wp-config.php.

    Hey Dennis,

I have the same problem – I have “main” site and one for german translation, but if I change settings in one blog, the settings automatically change in the other one as well – I just don’t know how to configurate new settings, I tried to create and re-create new web again and again, but still no success…

    thanks for your help.

    OK, let me know. ??

Well, it’s probably WP bug which should be resolved in 4.2.3.
…basically the created subdomains don’t work as there is some problem with the connection to the database…I will have to wait or find another solution for multilanguage website…thanks anyway! ??

Strange because I have a German, Italian and English website with subdomains that has no problems. ?? You can still open a new thread and describe your setup there…
